Experimenting with reduced values today and using one (much bigger) brush. One brush paintings- a bit like one-pot cooking I guess! 🤷‍♀️ This is a bit of a departure from more detailed commissions and other portrait work. What do you think?

For anyone who loves a varnishing video. To be honest it's a bit disappointing as far as varnishing reels go - it almost looks like I'm wafting a dry brush over the canvas. I promise it was loaded with varnish 😂

Revisited this little one for an hr or so and I'm glad I did. Deciding to only use big brushes (for me), made me make bolder decisions, simplifying things, which I'm really liking.

UPDATE: SOLD. Ok NOW she's finished. I signed this piece and then spent two days working on her despite my signature sitting at the bottom of the canvas...
